The Cabana

If you would like housekeeping, you can ask Val or Valery and they will gladly clean the houses for you. $25 cabana and $50/house bz. They can also give you fresh sheets or towels if you need them.

Sleep max 2, 1 room (1 double bed), 1 bath, kitchen, porch, ceiling fan

The traditional Belizean wooden cabana is located next to Finca beach house on six acres one mile north of Placencia village. Built on stilts, you can catch the breeze while watching the sunrise from the deck out front. There is a queen bed, futon couch, fully stocked kitchenette and bathroom with hot water shower. Sleeps 2 max.

We provide complimentary bicycles for your use. There is a small pretty well stocked kitchen and a private shady yard right on the beach. There are busses that run a few times a day and inexpensive taxis available all the time.

I am lucky but we have fabulous caretakers- Val, Valerie and Jose who are on site and will take good care of you.

The Neighborhood

I chose to settle in Placencia because I fell in love with the village which has a tightly knit community and I did not feel like I stuck out as a gringo there. FInca is just a quick ride out of town so you have some privacy and still have easy access to the village.
